Don Felkins – Estimator 
Don was born and raised in Los Angeles. For a short time he lived in the D.C. area doing high lift concrete work. He also built homes in Houston. Don moved to Sonoma County when he was in his early twenties and has lived in Sebastopol for the last 28 years.
Don has been with Leff Construction for nearly 30 years. As a superintendent Don built many large, complex homes. He particularly liked managing jobs with challenging structural elements, such as the remodeling jobs at the old Sebastopol Times building and the Powerhouse Brewing Company in Sebastopol and new construction at the Summerfield Waldorf High School. He found working with heavy I beams and the complexity and precise nature of metal structural work satisfying. The last residential new construction job that Don managed included structural shotcrete columns and beams. Don enjoyed the challenge and managed the job to a successful conclusion.
Don moved from the field into the Leff Construction office as our estimator in September of 2005. Don's advanced construction skills have contributed to his successful estimating work. In addition to preparing final job bids he also maintains the historic pricing database that is critical to our style as a design-build contractor. After work Don enjoys golfing & reading.
