Lisa Newbold – Controller and Human Resources Manager 
Lisa grew up in Southern California. After high school she moved to San Luis Obispo and lived on the beautiful Central Coast for 13 years doing bookkeeping and office management for retail, wholesale, medical and broadcasting businesses. She made her way to Sonoma County in 1990 and began her career in construction accounting. There she worked as a support technician for Master Builder construction software while completing her degree at Sonoma State University. Lisa graduated with a BA in Business Management, Accounting emphasis and went to work for Moss Adams in Santa Rosa as a staff accountant. Later she became a Master Builder certified consultant and Master Trainer for construction clients. After 10 years working with over 70 construction clients in Sonoma County and the North Bay, Lisa joined Leff Construction as an employee in June, 2006.
Lisa has over 25 years of bookkeeping and accounting experience and more than 15 years of experience in construction accounting. She has written and taught numerous on-line classes and live workshops and classes in Sonoma State University’s extended education Construction Management certificate program. Her experience in accounting, construction, consulting and training gives her a great background for her position as Controller and Human Resources Manager at Leff Construction.
In her non-working hours Lisa enjoys reading about current events, spending time with her pets and playing electric bass in a performing band.
