Steve Jacobsen – Superintendent 
Steve was born in Brooklyn, New York. He was a member of the U.S. Air Force stationed in Sacramento, California where he was a flying crew chief working with radar reconnaissance and AWACS (Airborne Warning and Control System) groups. Steve has been in Sonoma County for 35 years.
Steve has been around carpentry for 40 years. He has done all phases of construction and is especially skilled at finish carpentry work including millwork and cabinet making. A recent job included remodeling a client’s library room to add cherry wood beams, wainscot, arches, columns, shelves and crown molding. This elaborate job came out beautifully thanks to Steve’s abilities.
Steve studied architectural engineering during his four years at Brooklyn Technical High School. Brooklyn Tech is well-known for its math, science and engineering programs. After high school Steve studied surveying, electronics and graphics solutions in college.
In his youth Steve toured Scandinavia with a 60 piece band. This gave him a taste for travel that he has never lost. He loves live music and doing glass work including stained glass and copper foil. He enjoys going on cruises and exploring Wine Country and the greater Bay Area with his family.
