We are searching for a journeyman carpenter who:

• Is thoroughly skilled in residential framing, finish carpentry and concrete formwork
• Able to perform carpentry work without supervision
• Is willing to take a supervisory role on the job site from time to time
• Understands that the remodeling experience should be as wonderful for our clients as the finished product!

Requirements:

• 10 years minimum carpentry experience
• Journeyman level skills in framing and finish carpentry
• Journeyman level skills in foundation work and flatwork forming
• Ability to read and build to complex architectural and structural plans
• Capable of efficiently doing his or her own layout
• Willing and able to direct apprentices and laborers as needed
• Three years of experience in high-end custom residential building
• All hand tools and basic power tools
• Clean DMV
• Well-developed organizational and communication skills
• Computer literacy to include basic Microsoft office skills and ability to touch type 20 wpm
• Flatwork finishing skills are a plus

Examples of required carpentry skill level:

• Ability to efficiently frame a roof from plans without assistance 
• Ability to build a staircase with turns from plans without assistance

Expected salary range is from $25 to $30 per hour to start depending on experience and skills.
