Rick Pate – Architect 
Rick started out, in Texas, a framing carpenter then a dirty-hands contractor. He received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in painting from the Kansas City Art Institute, in 1979.
Rick eventually followed in his father's footsteps and became an architect. After obtaining a Master degree in Architecture from the University of Texas at Austin, in 1987, Rick moved to California and settled in Sebastopol.
Licensed in 1992, Rick has run a successful small practice ever since doing all manner of projects in both Sonoma and Marin Counties.
Rick enjoys playing drums in two local bands.
